Policy

Our normal business hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am 5:00pm. Massage done outside of these times is at premium rates (1.5 X regular fee).

All our sessions start promptly on their scheduled time.  If you are late coming in, that time is subtracted from your massage time.  If I am late starting your massage, you receive the session FREE.

If you are not completely satisfied with the results or service there will be no charge-they will be free.

If for some reason of our responsibility the session cannot be accomplished, you will receive a coupon for a free massage if notice is less than 12 hrs.

Please feel free to communicate to the therapist any conditions not favorable to your comfort or the session.  It is our aim to please and we need to know what's on your mind. If the client has a complaint, every effort will be made to settle any differences the client expresses.

Each regular session consists of 5 minutes of interview and disrobing, 50 minutes of hands-on work, and 5 minutes to redress.  (See exceptions below)

All information is held in the highest confidence and will not be shared without the express written approval of the client.

On the first session allow for an extra 15-30 minutes of interview to get medical history, be prepared to give information on accidents and trauma affecting the muscoskeletal system and medications taken. Medical records of past operations, cuts, or puncture wounds is needed if available especially when doing any type of medical massage.

Communication initiated by the therapist is kept to a minimum-verifying the correctness of the pressure or range of a movement.

Our policy is to make your session as comfortable as possible. Massage can be done through the clothing. The amount of clothing removed is the client's option and the session will be tailored to accommodate their desires.  Draping is required and only the part of the body being worked on will be uncovered.

Can anyone get massaged?

Typically massage is indicated for most medical conditions, some of the exceptions are the following:

• Hypertension >160/90
• Cardiovascular abnormalities
• Fever
• Infectious diseases
• Malignant tumors
• Sickle cell anemia during flare ups

We have frequent client and senior rates for those over 65.

We will file auto, personal injury policy insurance and workman's comp.
